Xen Nhà (aka Thanh Hằng Phạm) works across radio, poetry and zines. They are from Narrm (Melbourne) Australia and is currently based on Lenape lands in New York City.

 

Sound stirs our imagination and Xen Nhà works with it as a way to invite people into their interior and intersecting worlds. They freelance in audio and podcast production; produced radio documentaries 27 (2018), Remotely Intimate (2016) and We Weren't Born Yesterday (2015); and has ran creative sound workshops in Narrm and internationall.

 

Their writing has appeared in Peril, Hoax zine, Vănguard zine, Thankyou for Nothing and more. They have performed at festivals including Liminal, Emerging Writers Festival, AsiaTOPA, Liquid Architecture's FM[X] What would a feminist methodology sound like?, and Hà Nội's Queer Forever Festival. They are the founder and curator of Red Pocket Press, a project celebrating queer lunar new year through zines, art and food.
